Ireland

Kim Aitken was born in Cork and raised in Carrigaline, attending Carrigaline Community School prior to moving to Scotland to attend the University of Glasgow. Kim emigrated to Canada in 2011 to work as a Structural Design Engineer. She started Aitken Frame Homes just over a year ago, driven to solve the problem of housing attainability after her personal experience of seeking safety with a local Women’s Advocacy Group for herself and her children.

Seeing first-hand how the lack of adequate housing is harming local communities across the globe she knew there had to be a way to provide high efficiency housing for hard working people everywhere. The solution is her patented building system! A revolution in housing that she is excited to announce will be in Ireland in 2020. Having secured land Aitken Frame Homes Ireland is currently in the pre-planning stages for their first build in Munster.
